|Estimated Contract Value|
|The total amount of funds available for Phase 1 – Concept Design and Environmental Assessment is $100,000, which includes federal and local funds. It is anticipated that all other phases of the project will cost approximately $3 million which is currently unfunded. Each subsequent phase will require KT Board approval.|

|The RFQ, Plans and specifications are available for viewing at the KT Administration office or http://www.kitsaptransit.com/agency-information/procurement. All prospective Consultants are required to register as “Planholders” to receive addenda or clarifications regarding the proposal. It is recommended that Consultants notify Patrick Rogers of their intent to submit Qualifications and register with KT’s Planholders’ List in order to receive electronic notification of issued Addenda. Bidders that do not register will not be notified of Addenda and will need to periodically check for Addenda on KT’s website at http://www.kitsaptransit.com/agency-information/procurement during the solicitation period and before submitting Qualifications.|

|Kitsap Transit in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.|
|Scope of work|
|Kitsap Transit (KT) is soliciting qualifications from architects/engineers to design, and support the construction of a new transit facility and potential park and ride to be located in the Silverdale area of Kitsap County. In early 2015, alternatives analysis for the Silverdale Transit Center was started. As a result of these studies, the Kitsap Transit Board of Commissioners authorized staff to proceed with environmental site assessment and project design.
This project will require a firm or team that possesses the skills and experience necessary to design a fully operational transit facility integrated with Ridgetop Boulevard and Sid Uhinck Drive. Successfully completing this project will require that the respondent demonstrate expertise and experience in the following areas, at a minimum:
