Modernization of 2800SF of the northern portion of Level 03 in Kincaid Hall lab space. Create office space for the collaboration of faculty and staff and the renovation of an existing shared equipment space. MEP updgrades are included. Also includes regulated materials abatement and removal such as asbestos-containing materials and PCB-containing caulking. For all trades, lead-containing paint controls shall be managed per Washington State Labor and Industries Lead in Construction rule. Alternate #1 includes replacement and abatement of existing exterior doors with infill curtain wall window units on level 02 through level 05 on the west facade tower. Alternate #2 includes replacement of fan stacks to increase discharge velocity. Decontamination and Fan shutdown required. |
