Scope of work
The Yakama Nation Upper Columbia Habitat Restoration Project is soliciting proposals for the design and development of the Lower Twisp Large Wood Enhancement Project.  This project is located on the Twisp River in the Methow Subbasin between rivermile 2.2 and 3.5.  The objective of this contract is to use data collected during concept development to identify discrete locations for installation of engineered log structures.  The focus is to improve fish habitat in geomorphically appropriate locations throughout this reach.  Concept development was completed in 2011.  Additional survey and hydraulic modeling may be necessary to validate survey data and fill-in data gaps.    Based upon the proposals received under this solicitation the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation will award a design contract for Phases 3 and 4, as described in the appended Scope of Work.
