Scope of Work
The project is for the design of a 450 square foot facility to house six pumps. Concept drawings Exhibit A,
As-Built Drawings Exhibit Band a location map Exhibit Dare included with this RFP.
The scope includes design and specification of structural, mechanical, electrical, interior and exterior
features, finishes, equipment compatible with the levels and types of anticipated uses and other systems
necessary to support the primary function. The scope includes preparation of final design and construction
bid documents.
The Consultant shall be familiar with and comply with Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) administrative
requirements and guidelines pursuant to the awarded funding for this project. The Lummi Nation desires
to substantially complete the construction portion of this proposed project by September of 2017.
All work performed by the Consultant must conform to the design and construction standards of the Lummi
Nation Planning Department, International Building Code, and APWA Standard Specifications for Public
Works Construction. A pre-design conference shall be held with representatives of the Lummi Nation. A
Washington-licensed Professional Engineer, as required, must certify engineering specifications and final
design.
