P-239 Hangar 10 EA-18G Facility Improvements
Whidbey Island Naval Air Station

Quotes/Proposals Due: March 19, 2013 by 10:00 am Pacific Time

Description: The work to be acquired under this solicitation is for design-build (DB) services for the design and construction to renovate Hangar #10 (approximately 43,000 square feet) and construct an addition (approximately 31,000 square feet) in support of the EA-18G Growler aircraft. The hangar includes a hangar bay, maintenance shops, and administrative spaces. An elevator will be installed in the shops and administration spaces portion of the facility. A new medal hangar door system will be required. The project also upgrades concrete aircraft apron to provide six additional aircraft parking spots including mooring eyes and grounding points and constructs a new line maintenance shelter adjacent to Hangar #8 for assigned personnel and storage of tie down chains, wheel chocks and cables. The project will be located at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, WA.
