Pacchiosi Drill U.S.A.,  Inc.(Pacchiosi) has retained G.W. Frost & Associates (GWFA), a City of Seattle approved WMBE Expert, to assist the company in outreaching to local woman-owned and minority-owned contractors and suppliers to include in a bid package to the City of Seattle for a portion of the Elliott Bay Seawall Project work.

Pacchiosi has recently been pre-qualified with a few other specialty firms to submit a price proposal for the performance of Bid package 101 – Ground Improvement for the Elliott Bay Seawall Project, in Seattle. The base bid estimate range of the bid package is $50,000,000 – $70,000,000.

The bid date is July 18, 2013 (originally July 11, 2013).

The Owner, the City of Seattle, has established a contracting goal of awarding at least 13% of all work to certified women and minority-owned businesses.

All W/MBE subcontractor or W/MBE supplier interested in working with G.W. Frost & Associates and being included in a bid package, are invited to contact George Frost as soon as possible, to indicate interest.

Pacchiosi is specifically looking for pricing from woman and minority-owned subcontractors/suppliers in the following categories: 

  • Hauling of jet grout spoils using sealed containers (100,000 to 200,000 CY)
  • Surveyor services
  • Utility and structure monitoring
  • Utility locate (vacuum excavation)
  • Concrete cutting/coring
  • Core drilling sampling of in situ jet grouting treatments
  • Contaminated waste disposal/management
  • Fuel and lubricants
  • Office supplies
  • Laboratory testing
  • Construction supplies and small tools
  • PPEs and First Aid Supplies
  • Erosion and sedimentation control
