“Building a Bridge to Federal Success”

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), in collaboration with the U.S. Small Business Administration is hosting a 1/2-day small business community outreach event in or around various Indian Health Service Area Offices, concurrently. These events will educate Native Americans, and small businesses owned by Native Americans and Indian Tribes on how to effectively pursue contract opportunities with HHS, IHS, and other Federal Agencies.

Event objectives include:
• Familiarize small businesses with the processes and procedures associated with federal government contracting
• Gain insight on identifying and pursuing contract opportunities with IHS
• Provide information on how to access capital

Our goal is to assist individuals and small businesses with succeeding in the Federal Marketplace.

Some of the training topics include: How to do Business with HHS/IHS, Small Business Certifications, Access to Capital & How to Prepare a Capability Statement.
