Pre-bid Meeting: Tuesday, August 18, 2015 @ 1:00pm. Meet @ the airfield gate closest to Hangar 3036, Lewis-Main, JBLM, WA (Directions are as follows: Exit 120 off of I-5, enter Lewis Main Gate and continue for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Stryker Ave and turn left onto 16th St. Turn left on Airport Way. At the end of the street, Hangar 3036 is on the right.)This project is located on a controlled access military base.

This project is a Task Order for a MATOC contract. This project is RFP number W912DW-15-T-7012. Pease & Sons’ MATOC (Multiple Award Task Order Contract) number is W912DW-14-D-1006.

Project Description:
Renovation of Hangar bldg 3036. Construction includes selective demo of bldg systems, components and materials, hazardous material abatement, replacement of systems, components, and matls, and new construction. Project includes, but is not limited to, the following: new exterior metal siding to include new framing, sheathing, insulation, and metal siding; new insulation and metal roof: repair exiting hangar bay rolling doors; repair/replace interior elec distribution sys and provide new outlets and wiring; repair/replace lighting system and new int & ext fixtures; repair/replace int telecomm sys; repair/replace wet pipe fire suppression sys in admin and shop areas; remove/replace HVAC system; remove/replace windows and translucent panels; lightning protection system; repair/replace plumbing system and fixtures; remove/replace wall, ceiling, and floor finishes; relocate compressed air and power outlets in hangar bay; reconfigure fire alarm system; remove/replace people-doors (hangar doors to remain in place).

Estimated Value: $5 – $10 million

Contract Duration: 365 calendar days

This project is subject to federal Davis Bacon wage rates. Certified payroll will be required.

This project is subject to Buy American requirements. Please review the specs for additional information.
