SBA will participate in a joint Presidential Disaster Announcement (PDA) with FEMA and the State of Washington in Okanogan, Chelan, Stevens and Ferry counties plus the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation.

The joint PDA will bring disaster assistance to residents who have incurred damages to businesses and homes from wildfires that began June 29, 2015 and continuing. The PDA is scheduled to start Tuesday, September 15.

SBA provides low-interest disaster loans to businesses of all sizes, private non-profit organizations, homeowners, and renters. SBA disaster loans can be used to repair or replace the following items damaged or destroyed in a declared disaster:

– Real estate
– Personal property
– Machinery and equipment, and
– Inventory
– Business assets
