Subcontractor / Supplier Goals, Set Asides, Preferences
The University of Washington is committed to providing the maximum practicable opportunity for participation by minority business enterprises (MBEs) and women business enterprises (WBEs) in its contracts through direct contracts with the University, and sub-consulting or supplier participation. The University strongly encourages MBEs and WBEs certified by the State OMWBE to respond to this RFQ. Voluntary goals of 10% for MBEs and 6% for WBEs have been established for this project. However, no minimum level of MWBE participation will be required as a condition for entering into a contract. The University is also an affirmative action-equal opportunity employer.
Scope of work
The scope of services shall include: preparation of scoping, Preliminary, Draft and Final EIS and associated public meetings and hearings, and coordination with University departments, SEPA Advisory Committee, planning consultants, staff, and the CMP Advisory Committee and Working Group.
The selected firm will work under the direction of Capital Projects Office staff, Jan Arntz, SEPA Responsible Official and Environmental Land Use Compliance Officer, and work closely with the co-leads of the CMP, Rebecca Barnes, University Architect and Theresa Doherty, Senior Project Director for the Campus Master Plan.
