The Department of Enterprise Services (DES) and the Department of Veterans Affairs invite you to attend a Pre-Pre-Bid Conference to discuss the coming solicitation for Project No. 2008-028.
For bidder convenience (attendance is optional), two sessions will be conducted:

The Pre-Pre-Bid Conference is an opportunity for interested Prime bidders and subcontractors to meet each other and to meet with the Project Manager and Outreach Manager to learn about the bid strategy and supplier diversity expectations for the project. Most importantly, however, it is an opportunity for interested bidders to share standard industry practices, cost saving initiatives, challenges of being a state contractor, and suggestions for ensuring an inclusive, open and competitive process.
Representatives from DES’s Supplier Diversity Program, the Office of Minority and Women Business Enterprises, and the Department of Veterans Affairs may also be in attendance to discuss the state’s supplier diversity goals.
