Description of work: Improvement of I-5 in Pierce County, MP 120.73 to MP 121.04, by removing and replacing one existing prestressed concrete girder, reconstructing associated bridge superstructure of Bridge No. 5/411 NCO, removing and replacing illumination and ITS systems, traffic control and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans and Contract Provisions and the Standard Specifications. ***Contract duration is 55 working days.

DBE firms are highly encouraged to access WSDOT’s Contract and Award site (http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/biz/contaa/Projects/DEFAULT.HTM) and familiarize themselves with the contract documents. PCL is available to assist interested DBE firms in obtaining adequate information about the contract plans, specifications and requirements for this project. PCL is available to discuss breaking the work into economically feasible units to maximize the opportunity for participation by DBE firms on this project and encourages DBE firms to follow up with our estimating staff as early as possible, to engage in discussions about the scope of work they are capable of providing. |
