Kitsap Transit is seeking sealed Bids (IFB) from qualified contractors to furnish all services, labor, materials, tools, insurance, permits and fees (if any) necessary to design and install a turnkey clean agent fire suppression system (FM-200 or equivalent) to cover both of our network server rooms. Once the clean agent system is commissioned and operational, Contractor will remove existing wet suppression system from both rooms.
All equipment, materials and work shall be conducted in accordance with NFPA 2001 requirements and all local, state and federal codes. During the course of the work, it shall be the responsibility of the Contractor for reporting all impairments and restorations of the fire alarm system to the Fire Department and Kitsap Transit’s Project Manager.A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and site visit is scheduled for 10:00 am on November 24th, 2015 at the Kitsap Transit Harborside Building, 60 Washington Ave Suite 200, Bremerton, WA 98337. After the site walk at the Harborside Building, Kitsap Staff will conduct a walk through at Kitsap Transit’s Charleston Base, 200 Charleston Blvd. South, Bremerton, WA 98312.

Mailed or hand-delivered sealed Bids will be accepted at Kitsap Transit’s Main Reception desk NO LATER THAN 2:00 PM PST, on December 9th, 2015 (and must be addressed as (CLEAN AGENT FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM INSTALLATION IFB KT #15-526).
