September 7, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm PDT

Manson Logo2

If you’ve ever submitted a proposal, you know how complex and time-consuming these documents can be to prepare. It can be difficult to even know where to begin with a proposal let alone whether you are writing it effectively. When submitting a bid proposal you are competing against other businesses in trying to convince the client to award you the contract. It is important that your bid looks professional and that it includes all the information the client requested. The class will cover:

  • Best Value vs LPTP (lowest price, technically acceptable)
  • Get Prepared
    – Technical Qualification & Solution
    – Pricing
  • Key Elements for Proposals
  • Pitfalls to Avoid
  • Pricing Tips
  • Lessons Learned-Debriefings
  • Practice Makes Perfect

WSDOT and Port of Tacoma will discuss how to do business with them and their upcoming projects. A presentation from PTAC on “Tips & Strategies for Success: Ensuring your Firm is Ready to Compete and Win.” A presentation will be made by Native PTAC.

Limited to 100 attendees, one per company [two if maximum allowance is not reached]

Continental Breakfast and Lunch included free of charge compliments of the Nisqually Indian Tribe. Breakfast is at 8:30 am.
