FreeBUSINESS SMART WORKSHOP: Learn what it takes to have a successful start-up
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), in partnership with the Anchorage Community Land Trust,will be providing a two-day workshop that lays the groundwork for helping new and aspiring entrepreneurs launch a business idea and understand the steps to building a business that is credit ready. The information is laid out simply into three areas.
Basics of Business startup
Essentials of becoming credit-ready
How and where to find additional small business support and educational resources
Get the basic knowledge to get you on the right track in starting a business and in connecting to local resources to provider further support along your entrepreneurial journey.
1st Session: Wednesday, April 6, 2016 (5:00-7:00 pm)
Gain a basic understanding of the key steps to getting your business off the ground.
2nd Session: Wednesday, April 13, 2016 (5:00-7:00 pm)
Learn about various financing options and what banks look for when lending money.
Learn about the local resources available to assist you in starting and growing a small business
