Women’s Business Contracting Successes & Networking

February 17, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm PST

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Portland District Office and EnviroIssues are partnering to host an information-sharing session on the benefits of government contracting featuring successful women-owned small businesses. The event will provide you a prime opportunity to learn about certification programs and how firms have used them to reach greater levels of competitiveness, with an occasion for informal networking immediately to follow.

Whether you do architectural design, environmental analysis, construction services, media relations or creative storytelling, we are excited to invite you to join the discussion!
We’re hoping this will be an opportunity to share with each other and provide a jumping off point for new connections.

RSVP
Please RSVP so that enough food can be ordered. We’ll provide light appetizers and other refreshments.

Like many women-owned businesses, EnviroIssues began with one woman and a big idea. Pat Serie founded EnviroIssues nearly 25 years ago and today we are proud of our history as a women-owned business and our connections to a vibrant community of entrepreneurial women. As part of our 25th year, we want to support other women-owned businesses in the local consulting community.

The SBA offers services to help businesses start, grow, and succeed. Over the years, the SBA has developed many advising and loan programs, and special initiatives to aid and inform small businesses.
