MED Week 2016

Our theme for this year is “The Power of Ownership”.  We look forward to hearing our guest speakers insights and perspectives on the power of ownership.

Each year, BDI and local sponsors host  Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week Workshops and Awards Luncheon for the Portland Metropolitan region. During MED Week, advocacy groups and government partners join the local business community to celebrate local minority businesses and the contributions they make to our local economy.

MED Week workshops provide industry relevant education to small business owners and government and corporate diversity practitioners. In addition to workshops for small businesses and diversity practitioners, the annual awards program recognizes minority business owners and diversity practitioners that have demonstrated growth and leadership in our community. This year’s MED Week schedule of events will offer attendees valuable opportunities to network and develop professional skills and partnerships.
