Denial Avoidance

The Pre-Decision Process (PDP) and the Pre-Determination Findings process (PDF) were designed to reduce denials by allowing firms to address and correct issues without receiving a denial determination.

Pre-Decision Process (PDP) – Allows Veteran Business owners to withdraw an application to fix any issues and immediately reapply for verification.

Pre-Determination Findings (PDF) – Inform Veteran Business Owners of easily correctable issues within their application. Owners have 48 hours to respond with their intent to correct and 5 days resubmit.

Note: Participation in either PDP or PDF do not guarantee verification.

Verification Assistance Counselors

CVE provides, free-of-charge, Verification Assistance Counselors to help with all aspects of the Verification application process. Counselors recieve regular training, which gives CVE full confidence in their expertise. You can find counselors on CVE’s web site.
