The U.S. Department of Transportation Bonding Education Program (BEP) is in partnership with SFAA to help small businesses become bond ready. The BEP consists of classes designed to address what businesses need to do to become bond-ready and one-on-one session with subject matter experts such as local surety bonding producer, CPA, bookkeeper, bankers, and etc. to help assemble the materials necessary for a complete bond application. This program is tailored to businesses competing for transportation related projects. The target audience includes small and emerging contractors in the transportation industry. However, the program is open to all contractors seeking to increase their business capacity and run their operation more effectively.
Program Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be the primaryowner(s), key manager(s), oradministrator(s) of a business,
