The Owner strongly encourages the use of local hire for construction awarded under the contract established by this IFB. At a minimum the contractor shall advertise or post notices in the community with the intent to hire qualified individuals if available.

Scope of work | |
The successful contractor shall provide materials, tools, equipment, supplies, parts, labor, freight, transportation, mobilization, and demobilization, and supervision necessary to process all collected white goods, crushed/palletized drums, and collected hazardous waste, prepare all items for transportation from community, and properly dispose of them in an approved/permitted landfill. All work shall be done in accordance with the attached Scope of Work.
The actual amount of material to be removed from community is unknown. Estimated quantities are noted in the Scope of Work. It is the responsibility of the bidder to verify waste quantities. |
