Pre-bid Meeting: 12/2/15 @ 10:30am @ 9702 Portland Ave E, Tacoma, WA

Project Description: Construction of a new single story building of approx 8,378 sqft that will house fire district emergency responder personnel with three (3) drive through vehicle bays, crew living and sleeping areas, support areas and public areas. The project also includes development of the project site of approximately 1.56 acres which involves site clearing, new building and paving base support, storm water system construction, concrete and asphalt paving, construction of onsite and frontage improvements and off-site improvements.

Estimated value: $4.395 million

Contract duration: Substantial completion is 336 calendar days. Final completion is 45 calendar days thereafter.

This project is subject to WA State L&I prevailing wage rates. Certified payroll will be required.

SPECIAL NOTE TO STEEL FABRICATORS: Per spec section 051200-1.5.B, “A qualified fabricator who participates in the AISC Quality Certification Program and is designated an AISC-Certified Plant for Conventional Steel Building Structures (SBD).”
